I am Kelvin Mupungu (journalist),  Editor and Publisher for http://www.newsafrica.co.uk.

Thank you for taking time to visit NewsAfrica.co.uk. The publication is in the interest of  journalism and for us ” it is all about communication”.

We aim aim to bring together news on, from and about the sleeping giant #Africa. The sooner the continent behaves like a single market, the better for citizens.

Posts published on this blog represent how other journalists interpret events. Commentaries  written by our team are always referenced so but waste no time in persecuting NewsAfrica as facts about each topic are already in public domain. We do not manufacture news.

We continue to urge African governments to continue to adopt democratic practices of governance so as attract investment  into the continent . Such practices include allowing freedom of information and speech. Africa’s greatest son Nelson Mandela said ,”A critical, independent and investigative press is the lifeblood of any democracy.”

Please feel free to debate on any issue because that is what this blog is all about. I welcome feedback so let me hear what you think about any of my posts.

Just wanted to offer my sincere appreciation for your recent decision to follow Learning from Dogs. To be honest, I’m not sure there will be many items that will resonate with what your readers are looking for, unless it’s about dogs! Plus there is a connection in that this Brit living in Southern Oregon has a sister living in Jo’burg.

thank you so much for following `life’s musings by lorna’, i feel highly appreciated as an African. It’s not every time i write something African but some of those days when i want to share with the world how much Africa has to share i make sure i write something newsworthy about my continent. Cheers!:-)
